Why Register a Domain?

If you have registered your domain name and it is not currently on our Domain Name Servers (DNS), you will need to contact your registrar to request and process a transfer. Since every registrar has different polices on domain transfers, we cannot initiate a domain transfer at any registrar.

Hosting is the next step after you register your domain. Your domain sits on a server called a hosting server, where files and content to be displayed whenever your domain is accessed, reside. Just as the White House is where the President of the United States of America resides, so your hosting account on a hosting server, is where your domain name resides.

I have an exisiting web presence. Can the Site7 CMS be integrated into it?
Yes, of course! It can be integrated into new or exisiting sites. For new sites, the option will be included as part of your quotation. For existing sites, your website will have to be evaluated and assessed by our technical staff, and thus, a quotation presented to you. Please contact our support staff for more information.

Is there a charge associated with the CMS after integration?
Yes, a small annual fee is normally associated with the use of our CMS, starting a year after your initial subscription. This is to enable us keep the CMS panel on your website up to date with the latest web technologies and ensure stability.
